Depending on the features you use, Groceli may collect account information such as your name, email address and authentication information; grocery lists and items you create; budget or price information you enter; shared-list membership information; reminders and preferences; and technical information needed to operate, secure and improve the service.

2. How we use information

We use information to provide and maintain Groceli, synchronize your lists, enable collaboration, provide requested features, secure accounts, respond to support requests, prevent abuse and improve the service.

3. Cloud services

Groceli may use third-party infrastructure providers, such as Firebase/Google services, to provide authentication, cloud database, hosting or related functionality. Information is processed according to the configuration of the Groceli service and the applicable provider terms.

4. Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by service providers that are necessary to operate Groceli, or disclosed when required by law or to protect the security and rights of users and the service.

5. Data retention and deletion

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the service and meet legitimate legal, security or operational requirements. You can request account deletion through the Groceli app or the account deletion page. When an account deletion request is completed, associated user data will be deleted except where retention is required or permitted by law.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information processed. No online service can guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's privacy

Groceli is not directed to children under the age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable requirements.
